Objectives

  • Choose patients where DVT POCUS may improve diagnostic speed and/or accuracy

  • Obtain images of the upper and lower extremity of the deep veins with POCUS

  • Identify the normal and abnormal sonographic findings of the upper and lower extremity

  • Incorporate DVT POCUS into the care of the patients
